Research Interests
I am fascinated by the metabolic capacity of microbes, how they manage to break down and recycle compounds that no other living organism can feed on. At the Orphanlab, I study the evolution of AOM metabolism using a combination of theory and experiments, focusing particularly on the role of nutrient limitation.
