I am a Spanish microbiologist located in Bremen, Germany. My scientific career has focused on anaerobic hydrocarbon-degrading archaea. To investigate them, I use different techniques including anaerobic cultivation, molecular methods, and bioinformatics. One of my main interests is to discover new microbes or pathways that widen our knowledge about the microbial world.
